- Put 3 keywords linked to other pages here in a list

- Target 2-3 keyword phrases per page, not just 1.
- Use keywords early and often throughout the page.
- Write naturally.
- Sprinkle your keywords naturally throughout your copy.
Main paragraph text - keyword near start of sentence on 1st line
Main paragraph text - keyword near start of sentence on 1st line
Use single and plural versions of your keywords, naturally.
Put keywords into links on the page where you can.
Try not to put keyword as first thing in H1, H2, first words in first link, etc, all at once. Mix it up - put some non-words like 'the' or 'my' in front of them so the keywords are not always the first words in a H1 or link, but S.E. ignore those basic words anyway.
Aim for about 10% keyword density. (eg, out of 100 words on the page, 10 of them are keywords).
Check keyword density: ranks.nl Check that your keyword density kind of matches your competitors in Google for the same keyword. It doesn't have to be exactly the same, just be in the ball park (eg, 2% either way is fine, because off page links matter more than on page keyword density)
Check:
- 1st line of body is bold (or H1) with a keyword in it.
- The next line has a keyword in it.
- Put keywords in lists, near top of page
- Put keywords in links, near top of page. OK for links to point to your own site pages.
- Even have the keyword links in the lists from point 3.
